Head of Operations & Finance

Tim is a seasoned healthcare and operations executive with over 30 years of leadership experience with organizations ranging from early-stage startups to large, complex corporations. Before joining Bluebird Local Nursing, Tim served as Chief Financial Officer of Pattern Bioscience, a venture capital-backed diagnostic medical device startup. Before that, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of McKesson Medical-Surgical, a 10 billion dollar business unit of McKesson Corporation.

A native of Virginia, Tim moved to Austin to pursue his MBA at The University of Texas at Austin, where he met his wife, Brenda. After multiple moves within the U.S. plus two international assignments, Tim and Brenda ultimately chose to return to Austin to be close to their three adult daughters and a growing number of grandchildren.

Outside of his professional life, Tim is an avid endurance athlete who enjoys competing in long-distance triathlons. He and Brenda are also enthusiastic cyclists and can often be found exploring multi-day gravel bike routes across the country, combining their love of travel, fitness, and the outdoors.
